A new, limited line of monumental, museum-grade ceremony arches and architectural backdrops. Each piece is sculpted from solid hardwood, hand-joined, and built as a single commission, not a catalog item.

The Concept

The Overlocking Crescent Altar

Instead of a geometric triangle or a flat circle, this arch is built from two sweeping, asymmetrical wooden crescents that curve toward each other like wind-swept boughs, overlapping slightly at the peak. The base is anchored by heavy, sculptural outrigger feet that flow organically out of the arch's own footprint.

Each arch is carved and hand-shaped from a solid hardwood lamination, in walnut, cherry, or a milk-painted finish over pine, then joined with exposed, hand-fit structural keys. No catalog hardware on display, no two pieces identical.

Every commission is designed, built, and personally delivered and installed by Foxgrain Fabrication, primarily across Colorado and the Mountain West, with commissions further out considered case by case.

Process

How a commission works

A slower, more personal process than the standard product lines.

Design Consultation

We talk through your venue, date, wood and finish preferences, and whether the piece should be designed for a second life at home after the ceremony.

Design Deposit

A deposit secures your build slot and covers detailed design drafts and material selection before any hardwood is cut.

The Build

A single-commission build, typically 1-2 months, carved, shaped, and joined by hand in the Parker, Colorado shop.

Delivery & Install

Crated and personally delivered, with on-site installation at your venue, primarily across Colorado and the Mountain West.
