About

An engineer running a fabrication shop, on purpose.

Foxgrain Fabrication exists because too many parts get built without engineering judgment. We close that gap: real CNC, laser, and additive capacity guided by 30+ years of designing things that actually have to work.

Foxgrain Fabrication exists because too many parts get built without engineering judgment. We close that gap: real CNC, laser, and additive capacity guided by 30+ years of designing things that actually have to work.

Foxgrain started where every real product starts: with a problem nobody else wanted to solve. Good ideas kept dying at the fabrication step — wrong material, wrong joint, wrong tolerance.

So we built the shop we wished existed: CNC routing for the structure, laser cutting for the detail, 3D printing for the pieces that don't make sense to machine — and an engineer in front of every job.

How we work

A short, opinionated list of how we run jobs.

/ 01

Function before finish.

The part has to work. Beauty is what happens once function is locked in.

/ 02

Honest scoping.

If your idea is going to be expensive, we'll tell you why, and how to make it cheaper.

/ 03

Engineered iteration.

Each revision should answer a real question. We don't iterate just to look busy.

/ 04

Single point of contact.

You talk to the person actually running the job. No handoffs, no broken telephone.
